End Of Cable
The
end of the cable on an OTDR trace will generally be
noted by a reflectance peak followed by the trace going
to just noise. Here we see the end of the receive cable
with a connector. If the end of the fiber is broken, for
example from damage, the reflectance may be much lower
or not visible at all.
